Recorded at the legendary Bottom Line club in Greenwich Village, the album presents an evening of music, songwriting and storytelling – intimate, acoustic, historic. The Bottom Line Archive label is distributed via BFD/Red; BFD is a division of Bob Frank Entertainment.

ALLAN PEPPER REFLECTS ON THE BOTTOM LINE’S LEGACY, TALKS ABOUT THE “BOTTOM LINE ARCHIVE SERIES” AND MORE

Located at 15 West 4th St., The Bottom Line was a prominent music venue opened by Allan Pepper and Stanley Snadowsky in February 1974. Bruce Springsteen played there on the Born To Run tour, among other gigs. Lou Reed recorded his Live: Take No Prisoners album there. Harry Chapin chose to play there for his celebrated 2,000th concert. Prince, Hall & Oates, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, The Ramones, Miles Davis, Billy Joel, Peter Gabriel and Cheech & Chong are among the other legends that played at The Bottom Line. Read more here

The New York Times: The Byrds’ Roger McGuinn on His Special Bond With Pete Seeger

In 1994, Mr. Seeger and Roger McGuinn, the Byrds’ frontman, solidified their musical bond in a concert at the Bottom Line in New York. It was the only show they played together. The two collaborated on hits including “If I Had a Hammer” and “Bells of Rhymney” at the performance, which will now be released as part of the Bottom Line archive series. The two-disc recording, “Pete Seeger & Roger McGuinn: Live at the Bottom Line,” will be available on Oct. 30.
